All The World's A Stage

Timeless themes in Shakespeare's plays are still relevant 400+ years later. What did he say about acting, life, and theatre of the time? Arranged by Mary W. Schaller, this sampler of Shakespearean scenes revolves around the theme of Elizabethan theatre and staging techniques. Along the way, a central character, the Modern Theatre Student, narrates between scenes from As You Like It, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Julius Caesar, Macbeth, The Tempest, and many more favorites. Included are some of the most famous big speeches offering insights into human nature, society, and the complexities of relationships.
