MacMurder!

MacMurder! is a new comedy murder-mystery by Pegasus Theatre founder Kurt Kleinmann, part of the Living Black & White series. These productions recreate the aesthetic of classic black-and-white films through a unique combination of makeup, costumes, lighting, and set design -- an experience both visual and theatrical.

The story features the beloved recurring characters: Harry Hunsacker, Nigel Grouse, and Lt. Foster, with a new twist involving Scottish nobles, a mysterious castle, and (of course) murder!

Audition Details: Pegasus Theatre is seeking 8 versatile adult actors (18+) of any race, gender, or background for the world premiere of MacMurder!, part of our acclaimed Living Black & White series. Performers will play one or more roles in this fast-paced, comedic murder mystery set in 1930s Scotland.

Please prepare:

  • A brief cold reading from sides provided in advance.
  • A Scottish dialect (any regional variation is acceptable.)

If you are unable to attend in person, you may submit a video audition (max. 5 minutes) reading from the provided sides.
