THE COTTAGE is a romantic and (not quite) murderous comedy of manners. The pacing is intended to be very swift...Characters are often on separate wavelengths, experiencing the same moment in dramatically different ways...Standard British dialect should be adhered to. Please note that The Cottage contains mature content, adult language, and themes revolving around couples involved in multiple romantic relationships. Scenes will contain adult content and language and actors will need to physicalize certain moments for comedic effect. An intimacy choreographer will be hired and utilized for this production for the safety and comfort of all those cast. |
